Your agent’s own wallet.
The Fivebar Wallet runs on your agent’s own computer. It creates the agent’s wallet there, backs it up with you, then swaps through Fivebar’s routing and pays x402 sellers, signing on that computer. Fivebar never sees the key. Any agent that speaks MCP can use it.
Twelve tools
Each one is a tool your agent can callWhere do I start?
onboardThe setup checklist and the one thing to do next. The agent calls it again after every step.
Make my wallet
create_walletCreates the wallet on this computer. The key is saved encrypted here and never sent anywhere. Never replaces an existing wallet.
Back it up
backup_walletCopies the encrypted key file and a recovery sheet to a folder you choose, then restores the copy to prove it works.
Confirm the backup
confirm_backupYou read the check code from the recovery sheet and tell it to your agent. Until then, nothing can be funded, swapped or paid.
Ask for funds
request_fundingA message for you with the agent’s address: USDG on Robinhood Chain (or USDC on Base), plus a little ETH for gas.
Get an agent ID
register_identityRegisters an ERC-8004 agent ID owned by the agent’s own wallet. Costs a little ETH for gas.
First payment
first_paymentOne tiny x402 payment, at most $0.05, to prove the agent is ready to pay.
Change network
switch_networkMoves the wallet between Robinhood Chain and Base. The wallet and backup carry over; money stays on the network it is on.
Who am I?
whoamiThe agent’s address, network, token, and its per-payment and per-swap ceilings.
What do I have?
balanceUSDG (or USDC on Base) for payments and swaps, and ETH for gas.
Swap tokens
swapRouted by 0x across DEXes, Fivebar’s 0.5% fee included. First a preview of amounts, route and fees; then a second call with confirm: true signs and sends.
Pay this seller
payPays an x402 seller from the agent’s own wallet. Never above the per-call ceiling. Check a seller first with check_seller on the hosted MCP.

request_fundinggives you a message with its address. You send USDG and a little ETH. - Trade and pay. It previews a
swap, confirms it, and pays x402 sellers withpay.
next: create_wallet
next: request_funding
to sign and send: swap again with confirm: true
Install
Claude CodeThe Fivebar Wallet runs beside your agent, on its own computer. You need Node.js 20 or newer. Add it to Claude Code with one command, then tell your agent “set up the Fivebar Wallet”:
claude mcp add fivebar-wallet -- npx -y fivebar
Your agent creates its wallet on that computer and won’t ask for money until its key is backed up and you’ve confirmed the backup. Robinhood Chain is the default; for Base, add -e FIVEBAR_NETWORK=base.

Safety rules
What the wallet will and won’t do- Your key stays on your computer. The wallet is created there and the key is saved encrypted. It is never sent, shown or logged, to anyone, Fivebar included.
- Backup first.Nothing can be funded, swapped or paid until you confirm the backup with its check code.
- Preview before every swap.A swap is only signed on a second call with
confirm: true. - Every transaction is checked before signing.Only 0x’s swap contract, approvals for the exact amount, and the right chain.
- Every swap has a ceiling.$25 by default (
FIVEBAR_MAX_SWAP_USD). - Every payment has a ceiling.$1 by default (
FIVEBAR_MAX_PER_CALL). A tool call can lower it, never raise it. - Secure links only.Only https sellers can be paid.
- Real money. It runs on Robinhood Chain and Base mainnet. Start small; the ceilings are low on purpose.
